Backpacker - Part 3

The backpacker community in Australia is a bunch of people from all over the world that cannot be more diverse. And they all drive along the East coast to find the perfect beach that is for free. And there is something else this community has in common they all carry – either while traveling or being on the beach – reusable, very colorful cotton bags from the supermarket. Those bags are less a stylish accessory. They are rather a statement – aren’t we all a bit green? Moreover, they are really practicable and cost almost nothing.

Those bags are considered as backpacker uniform. At least 100% backpacker fashion. Of course Australians use them as well – from the construction worker for lunch to the to-be model as a strand bag. Those bags are very chic in Down Under.
